My life slips
It’s out of my hands
Tears pour quickly
Not in response to the crimson

Thoughts of you
Torture my already weakened frame
I clutch myself
I have to hold it all in

If you cared
Would not you be here
Suppressing my inane fantasies
As senseless as they really are?

Gone are choices
I feel so numb now
Can I go?
Must I really leave you behind for ever?

And enter the darkness . . . ?
